As the O-pad is currently set as a d-pad, both o-pad and d-pad are registering at the same time in game for android. For example, moving up on o-pad moves character up AND does the action of D-pad Up (rotate weapon) at the same time. Same with D-pad up. Tested using 3ds with Herobound 2 for Samsung VR.
Do you plan on finishing the original authors to-do list?
-Make that 3DS version pretty
-Add analog support for the 3DS o-pad
-Add a proper options menu to configure the input
Are you talking about the original Android app? I can not make it support anything, since I have yet to manage to build it.
I did have plans to add gyro support and analog stick support to the client and perhaps a new server using DirectInput, but this project is already working perfectly for my use case so I can not guarantee anything in a reasonable timeline
I guess the issue would be in the android app and not on the client end.
I got the author to update the source code so it should compile now and work on newer versions of android. Check it out:
