Description - describe the bug / feature / suggestion in brief :

I get stuck at "Processing" and nothing happens.

  • I use a self-signed certificate on a private network (with internal DNS server).
  • I tried to enter the url with or without the protocol
  • No specific port
  • URL has this form: https://code.test.example.com

Expected behaviour - describe what should be the expected result :

  • Log-in succesfully on my Gitea instance.
  • Add more information on log-in problem.

GitNex version : 2.4.1

Gitea version : 1.11.4

Android version : 10

@hugokernel self-signed certificate is not supported on v2.4.1.

It support will be in >= v2.5.0

Youre using a version of Gitnex which did not support self-signed certificates.
This issue was fixed recently.

but it would be better if the user complie itself it from source or use an official build form the maintainers

I have not seen any offical build of 2.5.0-dev and some users are not familiar with compiling their own versions. I have even mentioned that the user can compile itself.

We can have release(not debug) APK builds from master in the future, so users can test anytime.
