What this stylehseet does:
Sets the colours of the form controls to be the same as
the GTK configuration. Avoids a "colour bug".
How to install it:
Put it in your home directory, and in Galeon do Settings
/ Preferences / Rendering / Stylesheets Add, and check
"Apply this sheet by default".
(You can also have this stylesheet in addition to any
other stylesheets you have, and enable/disable it
interactively.)
Why it's needed:
Sometimes I need to let other people browse the Web from
my desktop. They don't like using my access gateway etc,
so I give them a normal Galeon browser without any
configuration changes, so websites look "normal". But
something goes wrong: Some websites use stylesheets to
set the colours of their form controls, and, guess what,
they only set the foreground colour without changing the
background (or vice versa).
Since I've used my own GTK theme, and therefore the
"default" foreground/background colour is not what the
Web authors expect (even though the Galeon defaults are
otherwise "normal"), this can result in some horrible
"colour bugs" (like yellow text on a white background, or
dark grey text on a black background) when Web authors
write CSS like
input { color: #000000; }
so it's just GOT to be overridden.
